Opening files

To open files in Exif Editor, you have several options

Open in application

You can use application menu File -> Open to show dialog where you can open either specific files, or the whole folders. Exif Editor always filters out unsupported file types by file name. Also, when some file has supported file extension, but cannot be read, it is silently ignored by the open file command. You can always show the open files dialog by pressing Cmd+O keyboard shortcut.

Drag and drop

Exif Editor also accepts drag and drop files onto the main window - specifically to the left side where are shown open files. When you don't have any file open, you can drop files anywhere in the main window.

Dropping files to docker icon, or to task switcher's icon is also supported.

Opening from Finder

When in Finder, you can select the file(s) you want to open, and do right click (or ctrl + click) to show context menu. There go to Open In and select Exif Editor to open file(s).
