Explore the application
You will spend the most of the time in Exif Editor in the main window. However, there is a couple of other windows or dialogs for you to control. For example the Settings window, the Presets dialog.
Main window
The main window is split into two parts. On the left, there is a list of open files. The right side shows the tags of the selected files, or the map, depending on the tab you are in.
You can edit multiple files at the same time. It is important to notice that you edit only those files that are selected in the files list. A small exception to this rule is the map. It shows all open files that have location data, not only the selected ones. Clicking a file's marker opens a popover where you can work with that file's location and address even if the file is not selected.
The Visible Tags menu in the toolbar switches between several views of tags: Basic, Extended,
Credit, Copyright and Info, and Web (Google Search).
Workflow
The basic workflow is to open some file(s), edit the tags, and then save all changes at once.
Settings window
In the settings window, you can edit application-wide preferences. See Settings.
