Working with Exif data

Image metadata are known to be exceptionally hard to understand. There is a couple of reasons why is it so.

  • Non-standard (custom) metadata
  • Not following standards
  • Bugs in written metadata
  • Software interpretation

Exif Editor hides a lot of complexity behind the scene, and tries to have a really simple yet powerful user interface that will show only necessary information. However, very often, working with metadata is on trial-error basis, specially because of various interpretation of tags.
